I FINISHED THE POS SYSTEM!!!

mayalaenI’ve been working on this stupid system HARD since May 2020. Like so hard that I’ve pretty much stopped doing anything else I actually enjoy in life.
I needed and wanted to get it done so everything could sync and it would be easier for the customers as well as Charlie and Marissa. And I wanted to be able to access all of it from home.
In the last few months I’ve been working all day and into the night every day and haven’t done my weekend brain reset thing for like 3 weeks now.
I’m overworked, tired, and so fucking excited that I finished it that my body is in this weird mode where like I wanna do stuff but I’m so exhausted I sit there and twitch.
I texted Charlie and Marissa the other day to say I FINISHED HOLY CRAP I’M DONE AND THAT WAS SO HARD and they know I’ve also been doing product orders (because they won’t/can’t) and taking care of a ton of other stuff while also taking care of my parents and the house. And that normally on a business our size, doing the thing I did would take 16-18 months, but I did it in 8-9. It’s actually 3 programs all interacting with each other.
Their response?

Over eight months of working so hard on this stupid system that I stopped gaming, reading, writing, chatting with friends, and more, and they write that back to me.
Oh well.
Oh and just in the last two weeks I’m an official distributor for THREE more companies including Dynarex, which is HUGE.
Anyway, now that I’ve got the online store and POS all fixed and syncing properly (I’ll still need to keep an eye on it for a while and do little tweaks), I have a little more free time to myself and can actually do something *I* wanna do.
One of the first things I did when I finished yesterday was buy Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. I haven’t started playing it yet and I haven’t watched the series either, but I’m very excited to start!
My favorite genre of games is open world with storylines and quests, which is what Witcher is.
The game download was 31g, so I’m assuming it’s got quite a lot of content to keep me going for a while :D
