Answer for question 4166.
Dec. 25th, 2014 09:09 am[Error: unknown template qotd]I've worked since I was little (doing odd jobs followed by employment at various places), and the fact that I pull my own weight has always been something I've been proud of, but in the last few years I'm even prouder to say I own my own business.
A few years ago, the idea was to open shop where the family could make some money. We built up some debt because everyone does when they open a business.
But I threw myself into it. I learn quickly, and when I put my mind to something, I commit.
It's been a crazy few years since we opened, but we're doing well. We cleared out the debt pretty quickly and we're growing so fast as a shop we're busting at the seams and people are asking when we're going to open another shop across town!
So yeah, I can say I'm proudest of the way I can take a situation that a lot of people fail in, such as starting a business, and I ran with it.
