Revamped Journal

I've been working for the last few days on my LJ as a whole. I've always had a hard time trying to figure out what theme I wanted to go with and it hit me a few days ago that I could use the same theme for my LJ that I have for my computer.

My current desktop is Blue Eye and you can view it by clicking on its name. It's being hosted at TinyPic.com.

I have been obsessively tweaking the whole journal for the last few days, but I think I'm finally to the point where I really like what I have so far. I'm not all that thrilled with the journal's black and white background, but I haven't found anything I really like yet and have had trouble finding anything that is subtle and subdued to where it doesn't detract from the rest of the journal.

After getting most of it done, I discovered that my bio table didn't work in IE, though it looked fine in Firefox. I usually use Firefox and just happened to think of checking out the whole journal in IE just in case. After much more tweaking, I think I finally have it.

As I have never done more than an introduction post before, I'll be needing to learn a bunch of new stuff. Part of that will be tagging, but I'm hoping that my Delicious experience will help with that.

Yes, I'm hoping that I'll quit being so worried about what people will think of me and just go ahead and write. If I annoy people enough, I'm hoping they'll either ignore me or at the very least change their custom friends groups and not actually defriend me :)
