5000 Bookmarks

mayalaenI've just hit 5000 bookmarks on my Diigo account. I'm close to 1000 tags, though I almost wish I could cut back on the tags a bit. I like that everything is very searchable, but 1000 tags seems like a bit of overkill.
I've read of people having thousands and thousands of tags, but I've looked at their tags, and it seems as if they have doubles (with misspellings or transposing of names) or they forget what they originally tagged something as and just made up another way of saying the same thing.
I'm very anal about my bookmarking, both with Diigo and Evernote, and I'm so glad I've done it this way. Looking things up is extremely easy, and both Evernote and Diigo have fairly good ways of searching.
I just thought I would mark this momentous occasion of 5000 bookmarks by being all geeky and flailing over my geekiness.
