mayalaentil my mom (66yo) thought it was perfectly normal for your brain to tingle or “jiggle” or “pulse” when you think about anything more than just a surface thought
she can feel where in the brain different types of thoughts originate because that region of her brain tingles -- math / memories / reasoning / layered jokes / pain
it was a complete surprise for her to learn that no most people can’t literally feel their brain thinking and that it’s a side effect of her epilepsy and the neurons firing incorrectly
i suppose i should label this psa since maybe there are others out there who think everybody’s brain tingles when they think hard
