I'm Online Again!

mayalaenI was banned from unnecessary electronics for 10 days. It was SO LONG.
Allergies are really going nuts around here lately, and when my allergies are bad, I tend to get allergic conjunctivitis which can turn into an infection. And it did. In both eyes.
Eye strain makes it take longer for your eyes to heal, so my doc banned electronics for 10 days. I was unbanned as of last night.
The doc banned me the same day that I bought a new PC game, which made it even worse. It’s like DUDE you have no idea how long it’s been since I’ve done gaming for any length of time and you want me to ignore it for TEN DAYS?!
But my eyes are all better YAY!!
And now I’ve got catching up to do! I have no idea what anybody has been up to. @spncoldesthits had some nice action and I need to go through that, read the fic, and check out the rest of the promos.
Marissa took the shop today because my mom has an appointment I need to take her to. It’s her yearly checkup with the cancer doc. This time we’re a little worried because she found a small lump in her cheek. I’m taking my mom and dad out there (it’s like a 70-mile round trip) and we’re going to have dinner at a casino (they have AWESOME buffets!).
Oh yeah and since I was last active on Tumblr, I got a new dog!!
The left and bottom right pics are from the groomer/friend who was evil and sent me these adorable pics to get me to adopt her.
She was abandoned in an apartment with three other dogs, so the groomer and her partner talked the apartment complex owner into letting her take the dogs.
Her name is Roo. She’s 3 years old and has a natural Mohawk from her forehead all the way down to her shoulders.
I’ve had her since Saturday, and she’s one of the cutest dogs ever. Super cuddly and loves riding in the truck, loves to get groomed. The guy who owned her didn’t really like her or the Chihuahua he had, and the Shih-Tsus he had were mean to her, so she’s kinda scared of men and not too thrilled over dogs. My dad LOVES dogs, so he’s working really hard to get her comfortable with him.
I don’t doubt he can do it. He and my mom took in Chow/Sheppard mix that walked into their yard years ago. She had been badly abused and had blisters on her feet from walking on blacktop in the middle of summer here, and even though it took months for her to warm up to my dad, once she did, she adored him. Every day she would get a little closer to him and he was very patient.
Anyway, there’s Roo, that’s some of what I’ve been up to, and now I need to catch up with what’s been going on here :)
