The terms of endearment was something I flip-flopped about as I was creating the 'verse in my head. I see Benny as someone who would use them, but to a lot of people it can be seen as something negative or like he's treating Dean as if he were a child.
I went with the endearments, obviously, but stuck with ones I thought fit each character, and later in the 'verse you'll see Dean's not the only one who gets terms of endearment.
I'm glad you're enjoying it so far. The more I work on this 'verse, the more I get into it and think of all the possibilities!
