facebook sucks

Everyone in my industry hates Facebook but we’re all stuck using it.

Tattoo artists hate it, shop owners hate it, business people in this industry hate it, event coordinators in the industry hate it, but the people who get tattoos LOVE Facebook, and 70%-90% of a tattoo artist’s business will come from it.

That means tattoo artists have to be on it a lot, which makes it the easiest place for me to interact with tattoo artists when they’re not in my shop – finding products I should carry, advertising my stuff, commenting on artists’ posts, and making my own posts so artists interact with me more.

But the only people who like Facebook are so far removed from me they’re not the ones buying from me while the rest of us all just hate it and whine about it to each other.

shopping for pillows

I’m a 1-pillow person, but I’m gonna have to get more pillows because Roo loves them.

For the last week straight I wake up in the middle of the night to Roo in the middle of my pillow, stretched out and comfy, while my head is on the bed. She’s done it before off and on, but now she’s doing it every night.

I told my mom about it not only because I think it’s adorable but also because I’m like should I put more blankets on the bed or is she not happy on the bed or what?!

She said Roo always curls up on one of her pillows and refuses to sleep on just the bed.

My mom is the Pillow Queen of the family. Because of spine and arthritis issues, she uses 12 pillows of various shapes and sizes to keep everything where it should be in order to be comfy at night.

I always tease her about needing TWELVE pillows but now she’s teasing me that I have to turn into a 12-pillow person because my dog insists.

I’m currently shopping online for more pillows so I can have my own pillow even though I’ve already got a perfectly good pillow.
