mayalaenIt’s so dark outside it’s kinda creepy but kinda cool.
The California and Arizona fires are mixing and have been for a few weeks, giving us a red sun and eerie reddish brown “cloud” cover that has actually saved us from having a few 120F/48C plus days.
All week it was supposed to be at least 118F/47C 🥵 and yet for two of the days it was 115F/46C and yesterday was 106F/41C.
But then a storm rolled in last night, so now we’re in this weird blue+brown+red cloud cover that OOH it just started raining gotta go sniff the air! 🌧️🤗🌧️
Okay I’m back. Yeah it’s a really weird combo of colors outside and it’s super dark, but a little bit of the eerie-ness went away once everything was wet. Or maybe that’s just me 😍 enjoying the rain!
For somebody who hates extreme heat and loves rain and has a high-ish tolerance for cold living in the desert is kinda silly, no? 🤣
