more family antics?

mayalaenMy family continues to be JUST the slightly okayish side of horrible.
Dominic got married yesterday. My mom and I watched the live stream through Instagram, which was totally awesome because we didn’t think we’d get to see it at all.
Dominic and Lilly looked amazing and happy and I’m so proud of Dominic and it’s great to welcome Lilly to the family.
But what the fuck is wrong with almost ALL of my cousins.
Dominic and Lilly wanted AC’s kids to be at the wedding (Andre and Addy) because Dominic doesn’t like AC or her husband. Nobody does, so it’s not a surprise.
But AC has been going off on FB about how nobody can put up with how awesome she is and you’ve gotta accept me for me and it’s like NO the whole point of being the person you want to be is that YOU have to accept some or most people won’t like who you are but you’re okay with it because that’s who you want to be.
She doesn’t get the last part.
She thinks she can treat people however she wants and they still wanna be around her.
Anyway, ignoring AC and husband, the kids were excited to go and they had a good time.
On to the next fuckup cousin.
Meagan (Dominic’s sister and Marissa’s daughter) has been an on-and-off alcoholic since she was a teenager. She got married to an alcoholic, and after a year of marriage, she decided to stop alcohol, but when he didn’t, she tore him a new one and divorced him. It was very weird. Especially when just a couple months later she went right back to being a raging alcoholic.
She got drunk at the wedding and made a fool of herself. Completely obnoxious because she’s an obnoxious drunk who picks fights and is loud and generally an asshole.
After the wedding, Meagan was dropped off at her apartment, and she continued being so obnoxious that her downstairs neighbor (who has to deal with her shit all the time even though Meagan’s only been living there like 2 months) started yelling at her to shut the fuck up.
So Meagan comes down to yell back at her. After she finished yelling, she turned around to leave, and the woman punches her in the back of head.
Meagan, never one to back down, turns around and punches the woman in the face. But let’s remember that Meagan is all bark and no bite and she grew up with two brothers who were more gentle and soft than her – she was the “tough” one – but in any real life situation is incredibly uncoordinated and weak.
The woman ends up hitting her hard enough to get her to the ground, but Meagan won’t stop. So the woman starts kicking her. All the time she’s beating the shit out of her, she keeps yelling at Meagan to stop and just go back to her apartment because she doesn’t really want to beat her up, but Meagan doesn’t quit. And if you can’t get Meagan to back down, she doesn’t stop doing horrible things.
Finally Meagan can’t get up anymore, so the woman turns around and leaves her there. Meagan stays on the ground and eventually pukes all over herself and passes out.
Not because of the beating but because of how fucking drunk she is.
It’s perfectly normal for her to drink until she’s so drunk she’s falling into things, breaking things, and puking all over.
It’s why she’s been living in an apartment for a few months now. She used to live with Charlie, Marissa, and Kaylin, but they couldn’t take it anymore.
Eventually Meagan woke up and crawled back upstairs to her apartment, but this is getting to the point where it’s looking like she’s going to get thrown in prison if she keeps it up. She keeps pulling more and more shit, all while brandishing her self-diagnosis of borderline personality disorder like it’s a pass to treat people however she wants and not work on it AT ALL.
But Dominic and Lilly’s wedding was beautiful, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen Dominic so happy :)
i’m so jealous of people who leave their families behind and start a new life somewhere else and just rarely or never contact their family again. I know I could do it, but look at me being a stupid idiot staying here
