mayalaenMy mom, for some weird reason, didn’t have a cheese grater. I assumed she did, so when we bought this house and moved in together, I threw out my crappy one.
The weird reason she doesn’t have a cheese grater is that we have a Bosch food processor 😮
And it’s like yes okay that works great if I’m doing like 50 pounds of cheese in one shot, but if I just wanna grate a little bit of cheese, I don’t want to break down and clean this whole Bosch machine!
Recently I finally got her to agree to getting a cheese grater.
But of course I research and find the bestest one.
Which is really sharp, but also really cool! Does a whole block in just a couple minutes. Has 4 different sizes of shred, a rubbery bottom to keep it from sliding, and the top handle is sturdy and easy on the hands. It’s just the best!
But I’m also super clumsy.
Last night I caught my thumb knuckle for the 5th time in the last 3 months.
This time I felt and heard it hit bone 🤮
Because I’m awesome.
My mom didn’t realize I’d hit my thumb 4 other times so she’s like wow first time doing this and you REALLY do it that far down o_O
She rolled her eyes when I said it was the 5th time.
I was in the middle of making quesadillas and we were all really hungry, so I rinsed it really good, pulled the loose fat out of the way and off, fit the flap of skin back down, and my mom (who’s really good at bandaging things perfectly) put a great bandage on it so I could finish making dinner.
The quesadillas were awesome!!
