spncoldesthits November Battle of Losers!

As of November, @spncoldesthits will have been running for 1 year, which means we’ll have 12 winners, and what better to do in celebration than make them battle it out in an elimination challenge where we crown our Loser of the Year!

All the winners of @spncoldesthits from this past year are invited to write a fic. The theme for November will be you must write a sequel to your winning fic, and it must include one line from your winning fic.

All the previous winners will battle it out as we normally do with hits, comments, and kudos earning you points, and the participant with the least amount of points will be named our Loser of the Year!

Everyone can participate! We’re going to make this even more interesting by pairing up each winner with the runner-up from the month they won, and as a team they will need to do their best to sabotage every other participant in the hopes of helping their team win.

But wait, that’s not all! Anyone who has participated during the last year and anyone else who wants to join in can also help the winner of their choosing by way of promos for their nemeses as well as hits, comments, and kudos for them while actually lowering their score at the same time!

HOW IT WORKS

We’ll use November’s winner @whataboutthefish and runner-up @fem-deanwinchester as examples.

In November 2016 they will form the team #teamfishiedean and while @whataboutthefish posts a fic for November, both she and @fem-deanwinchester will team up to sabotage every other team!

Anyone who wants to see team #teamfishiedean win will also help by posting art/graphics for promo war posts, liveblogging the fics, and other fun stuff because any sabotage posts using the tag #teamfishiedean will earn -5 points for #teamfishiedean, lowering their score and hopefully helping them win!

Maya reserves the right to come up with name mashups because reasons :D

1st prize goes to the Loser of the Year

2nd prize goes to the runner-up

• first choice from the Supernatural gifts list

3rd prize goes to the assigned partner for Loser of the Year

5th prize goes to the writer who earned the most points over the last year – they may have had no chance of winning before, but at least now they have a snazzy prize to show for it!

RULES

• to win the Supernatural gifts, you must have an Amazon account and be able to utilize the wishlist feature


• if you don’t have an Amazon account but you’ve won SPN prizes, you’ll need to give us your home address, which means we need a legal guardian’s permission to send you stuff if you’re under 18


• to win the gift cards, you must either be over 18 years old or have your legal guardian’s permission to use it for purchases


• breaking any of the usual rules will result in forfeit of your prize and it will be awarded to the next person in line

In celebration of SPNColdestHits’ 1-year anniversary, your mods are doing a GIVEAWAY! This will be running from October 1st through November 30th, and we’ll be drawing two winners a week on every Friday for a total of 16 winners!
