ultrafacts: In response to the idea of playing a U.S. show for only white people, John Lennon said in 1964, “We never play to segregated audiences and we aren’t going to start now.

Mayalaen: I’m not a huge fan of the Beatles, but a few years ago when I learned this, I gained a BIG OLD chunk of respect for them because of it.
